Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 10: Situation in Rajouri is fast turning as witnessed in Kishtwar, with minority community alleging that it was being deliberately targeted by the district administration to appease the majority community. The police had arrested three youth of minority community on charges of assault and they have been now sent to 10-day police remand. The members of the minority community have alleged that the arrested youth were only participating in routine Shakha. The two communities though have shared long traditional bonds but some elements supported by separatists, read terrorists, always try to communalise the situation, which many allege is done as a larger sinister design. The consistent efforts to flair up communal tension are a pointer of this strategy. The Jammu region has seen major violence this year including Gool, Kishtwar and then twin-terror attack in the Jammu city itself. |
