Jammu, Oct 10: Commenting on the ongoing unrest among the MBS engineering college students, president of "Jammu Pvt. Schools & ETT Institutes Association (Progressive) Deep Singh has criticized, what he called, the deaf and dumb approach of the state government and the Jammu University authorities over the issue. "After paying a subscribed fee for the course, students have all rights of good education from the institute whereas the management of MBS College is unnecessarily adamant for addressing a genuine demand of students", Deep Singh expressed. Demanding the services of a good teacher is once again the right of aspirant students and in that case state government and Jammu University authorities without caring any undue influence of the management should come forward in favor of students, he added. While appealing the higher education minister of the state and other concerned authorities, Deep Singh stressed for an intervention without delay for addressing the genuine demand of engineering students. |
