Jammu, Oct 10: Dr Karan Bhagat Senior Congress Leader,Member Pradesh Congress Committee and Member Schedule Caste Advisory and Development Board in a function held at village Kothey Salehar, of R.S.Pura distributed sewing machines and cheques Social Welfare Officer Vidya Devi, Panches of the village, Chowkidaar, Numberdaar and prominent persons of the village were also present on the occasion.
While addressing the beneficiaries, Dr. Karan Bhagat said that his constituency which is spread over a large area, houses maximum population of poor people and he is committed of their welfare and upliftment. He, on this occasion, declared that he will be working more vigorously to ensure that the benefits of the welfare-related schemes reach the deserving people.
