Jammu, Oct 10: NSS units of Government College for Women (GCW), Parade organized an extension lecture on the topic 'General Awareness about Mental Illness to Commemorate the World Mental Health Day 2013'. District Programme Officer Mental Health, Directorate of health Jammu Dr. Vinod Dhar has delivered a well informative lecture regarding the causes, prevalence and treatment of common mental health, references were made to the drug abusers among adolescence. Principal of the College, Dr. Hemla Aggarwal presided over the function, Dr, PP Singh, Prof. Shivali Gupta and Prof. Shabila Wani NSS Programme officer were present in the function. There was an active interactive session between the speaker and the students of the college. |
