Jammu, Oct 10: On World Mental Health Day, Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy organized a lecture on 'Awareness and Mental Health issues' today. The lecture was delivered by Dr. J.R.Thapa, ex. HOD Psychiatry, Government Medical College, Jammu. It was attended by the research scholars and students of faculty of Social Sciences. Professor Jigar Mohammed, Director, Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy, welcomed the speaker and the participants and expressed his gratitude to the Vice Chancellor, Jammu University, who directed him to organise the lecture. It was attended by Professor Arti Bakski, HOD Psychology, Professor Shailendra Singh Jamwal, HOD History, Professor Suman Jamwal, Dr Sharda Sharma, Dr Shyam Narayan Lal, Dr. Madhulika Singh, Dr. Tirath Raj Bhoi, Dr. Varsha Gupta of Department of History, Professor Dipankar Sen Gupta, HOD Economics and Dr. Chandra Shekhar of Department of Psychology attended the lecture and raised certain queries which were well clarified by Dr Thapa. The participants expressed their satisfaction on the theme and the proceedings of the lecture. |
