Jammu, June 24: The ongoing strike call called by the J&KSRTC Drivers Union, Jammu today entered second consecutive day today resulting the Interstate passenger fleet vehicles remained off from the road. Large number of SRTC drivers under the banner of J&KSRTC Drivers Union, Jammu assembled at SRTC yard Rail Head complex Jammu and amid slogans in favour of their demands staged protest against management for failing to redress their demands. Protestors led by Didar Singh Chairman, All J&K Drivers Union Jammu. Kulbhushan Singh Chib, President Tourist and District Fleet, Jammu, Chajju Ram president Interstate Fleet along with other union leaders highlighted their demands including revocation of termination orders of their colleagues who staged protest on 16/6/2014. Addressing the protestors, union leaders lambasted the authoritative attitude of the management towards the employees and decided to further intensify the agitation if management fails to consider the demands of drivers.
