Early Times Report
Jammu, June 24: "Nationalist" BJP, Kashmir centric National Conference and separatist Hurriyat Conference are on the same page on the issue of granting amnesty to the anti-national stone pelters, who has launched a war against India.
Today BJP leader from Kashmir Fayaz Ahmed Bhat demanded that cases against stone pelters should be withdrawn and all of them should be recruited in the police.
Shockingly no one is speaking about those innocent youth who were booked during Amarnath land row but all parties are speaking in favour of stone pelters of Kashmir. It is already established that stone pelting is part of agitational terrorism but there is race among all political groups to rehabilitate stone pelters.
Stand of National Conference and Hurriyat Conference was already clear but today BJP also came into the support of these stone pelters.
According to a handout issued today, important delegations of stone pelters have called on Fayaz Ahmad Bhat senior BJP leader. The youth who are associated with Stone Pelting Association and have been booked under various cases by present Government expressed their resentment on the attitude of the present Government who compels them to resort to anti-social activities. Fayaz Ahmad Bhat said that stone pelters should adhere to proper social behavior and strengthen the hands of Central Government headed by Narendra Modi who is keen to rehabilitate them as part of a social mainstream. He said that the way stone pelters of Khanyar were recruited in Police department through on spot selection; all other left out stone pelters should be recruited in the same way. They should be given proper rehabilitation so that they can live a dignified life.
