| NCP to contest Assembly elections | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jun 24: State Election committee of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) met today under the chairmanship of Former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh NCP chief J&K state unanimously decided that the party will fight coming Assembly elections. The committee discussed in detail the scenario of political situation in the state. It was decided the party will put up the candidates with integrity, social and secular backgrounds. While addressing the committee Thakur said there is a political vacuum in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and space is available for the cadre of NCP which has secular and progressive background under the leadership of Sharad Pawar , the NCP which was founded 15 year back by Sharad Pawar National president NCP has its branches in all states of the country and has got the distinction to be a national party. The party has already collected the Biodata's of Assembly candidates and more applications are being invited which will be screened by the election committee in the month of July. . Singh said "Who is or not responsible for increasing Railway Freight has very badly affected the common man in this country, every consumable goods will be costly. It is debatable, the issue is very sensible and common man very well knows which govt has created this problem, have the UPA played its role to avoid the decision of Railway freight and NDA could have halted this decision. |
