| Ambardar takes up migrant issues with GS Chib | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 7: Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Surinder Ambardar today took up different issues pertaining to Kashmiri displaced migrants with CAPD Jammu director GS Chib. According to press release, during meeting Ambardar appraised him about the persistent delay in the supply of the ration at different depots at different camps where displaced people are living due to which they are subjected to lot of problems in their day to day life and also stressed on the need to issuance of ration slips to the migrants falling under APL category. He also emphasized on the need to supply the ration within the first week of every month so that the adequate time gap is maintained for collection of ration at different places. He also stressed on the need to strengthen the supply chain module of the department so that the efficiency is increased which will in-turn help in mitigating the sufferings of the people to a large extent. Chib assured that they are already working on different modules to ensure that timely ration is supplied to all the counters without any delay and have already started the process of digitalising the entire migrant data with regards to supply of ration and have sought the required data from the relief commsionerate office which will ensure timely supply of ration to all the migrants registered with the relief office. |
