| Mangat Ram gives fargati to his son Mian | | | ET Report JAMMU, July 7: The high profile family feud has taken a new turn with the former Dy. Chief Minister Pt Mangat Ram Sharma disinheriting his youngest son Rajnish Sharma alias Mian, who is also a Congress functionary in the State. According to the sources in Congress circles, Pt Mangat Ram Sharma has submitted before the court that he disinherits his son Rajnish Sharma from his movable and immovable property because of bad behavior of the latter towards him. In the affidavit, Mangat Ram Sharma has alleged that Mian used derogatory language against him and had been insulting him various times. Keeping in view of Rajnish Sharma's insulting behavior towards me, I disinherit him from all my property and he is not entitled to claim anything belonging to me, Mangat Ram said before the court. Pertinent to mention that Rajnish Sharma alias Mian, who is Co-treasurer of JKPCC, had unsuccessfully contest last Assembly elections from Bani constituency. Mian has also filed criminal case in the court of Munsif at Bani against his father Pt Mangat Ram Sharma. In his suit, Mian has alleged that his father had fraudulently changed the mutation of the land situated at Bani on his own name, which was purchased by his mother. Mangat Ram Sharma is presently living with his eldest son Subash Sharma, who had also unsuccessfully conteststed the last Assembly elections from Kathua constituency on PDP mandate. |
