In the press conference, he informed media person that felt ashamed to see the worse arrangements for the yaries of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board when he visited the Yatri Bhawan Bhagwati Nagar. He said that the yatries are compelled by authorities to move from one counter to another to get registration for the yatra. They wait for many hours in long ques with no roof or shed on their head in scorching heat. He further said, "There is no proper arrangement for drinking water and boarding lodging which is the necessary. The yatries have to stay in the camps for many days for the want of registration". The Tourism Industry of the J&K state is dependent on the Shri Amarnath Yatra and if the Govt. will remain eye closed and become deaf than the common man will not tolerate this. |
