| DC inaugurates 'online rental compensation payment service' | | |

Reasi, July 7: Reasi,: The Deputy Commissioner Sushma Chauhan today inaugurated "Online Rental Compensation Payment Service" as a part of weeklong Digital India Week (DIW) campaign.
Speaking on the occasion, she said that the aim of this service is to make rental compensation services more efficient, easily accessible and hassle-free, adding that the service is part of DIW campaign which is being celebrated across the district to aware the common people about the IT and to codify various under an umbrella to got government services to people.
The week-long programme started in the district with the live webcasting of the launching of Digital India Week by the PM from New Delhi, which was watched by all district officers at mini secretariat.
The district administration, has been celebrating DIW since July 3 to make people aware about the e-governance programme for public services. The week long celebrations included special Aadhar enrollment and NERPAP camps across the district, competitions for students, workshops and seminars at schools and offices to sensitize the students and officers about ongoing activities under the Digital India platform and to educate participants about digital services being provided.
The weeklong celebrations concluded with at Jawahar Navodhya Vidhalaya where a debate competition, workshop in order to educate and create awareness on the initiatives taken by government to make India go truly digital was organized for students. Also a colourful cultural program depicting the importance of DIW was presented by cultural assistants of Information Department Reasi, which was highly appreciated by all. |
