| Two held with charas and 23 bottles of corex | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 7: Police today arrested two persons and recovered 300 gram charas along with 23 bottles of corex (chodine phosphate syrup) from their possession during naka checking at Bhatindi. A case under appropriate sections of law stands registered against accused. "The accused have been identified namely as Shakeel Ahmed of Surankote and Narender Kumar of Poonch, police said.
"On specific information party led by SI Mehmood Khan in-charge police post Bathindi under the supervision of SDPO Rafiq Manhas raised a naka at Sunjwan and intercepted two motorcycle borne youths, police spokesperson said.
"During frisking police recovered 300 gram charas and 23 bottles of corex from their possession," said police spokesman adding that both have been arrested while the charas and corex bottles were seized.
Police have registered a case and started further investigations in this regard. |
