He is trying to pass on the baton to terrorists to maintain the hegemony of his group. Sources told Early Times that Geelani and his aides are trying to seek help from their bosses sitting across the Line of Control (LoC) to keep the situation disturbed in Kashmir. "Separatists have informed their handlers that unrest cannot pro-long anymore as the Police have cracked the whip over stone-pelters and the miscreants due to which vehicular movement has increased in Kashmir and shops have started reopening," sources revealed. They said, "Separatists have asked their handlers to ask the terrorists to carry out attacks in the crowded places so that their writ can prevail and people who have started defying the shutdown call fall in line and get terrorized." Govt not to terminate anti-national employees, courtesy BJP ministers
10/15/2016 11:17:56 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 15: State Government has reportedly shelved its decision to terminate over 50 government employees who were directly involved in anti-national activities-thanks to the petty personal interests of the power hungry BJP ministers. Termination of over 50 government employees, whose involvement in attacking security forces and instigating youth to indulge into violence has been established, was on the agenda of the Friday's Cabinet meeting but the issue could not take up because BJP ministers were more concerned about managing plum postings for their officers rather than taking action against such employees. Sources in the corridors of power said that due to pr...

Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 15: On Thursday, the Union Government announced setting up of Institute of Management (IIM) in Jammu and set apart Rs 61.90 crore for the sanctioned institute, which would be spent not in one go but within four years. It was not a new decision; it formed part of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Rs 80,000 crore package for the state. There was nothing in the decision which caused hullabaloo in Kashmir and all the more because Kashmir was also part of the decision. The decision not only evoked a very negative and anti-Jammu response from NC working president Omar Abdullah but also from many others in the Valley. They in one voice said that Jammu was being pre...

G S Asgotra Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 15: To hide its failure to create sufficient parking space across Jammu, the district administration had sold the public road for parking purpose years back but there seems no possibility to reclaim these sold public roads from contractors. Moreover, instead of reclaiming these roads, the shameless district administration, every year handed over these public roads to contractors' by inviting tenders for parking vehicles at road side and generating huge money by charging fee from the daily commuters. A visit of busiest markets of city including Rughunath Bazar, Residency Road and RTO office- Jammu and even Apsara Road, Gandhi Nagar, reflects that...

Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 15: J&K has been in the news for almost 100 days now. Of course, dust has started settling in Kashmir, but the attitude of the Kashmiri leaders from the so-called Kashmir-based mainstream parties towards India and Jammu and Ladakh has not changed.
