Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Oct 5: What could be seen as inciting trouble in Kashmir, the main opposition National Conference has been providing legal assistance to stone-pelters who have vandalised public and private property for the last three months. Police have launched a massive crackdown across the Valley against stone-pelters and books them under various charges including the Public Safety Act in order to restore normalcy. But look what the NC is doing. It has hired a group of lawyers who plead the cases of stone-pelters and who are part of separatists. It is seen as supporting the ongoing turmoil. "These lawyers have offered services to various stone-pelters to ensure their release so that they return to the streets with stones and create law and order problem," sources said.
