Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 25: Former Deputy Inspector General of police and now state secretary of BJP Farooq Khan is again in the news for all wrong reasons. A top official has reached to the doorsteps of a top aide of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, pleading that he had been wrongly implicated in a land related case at the behest of Khan, according to highly placed sources. The official has stated that he had been wrongly booked at the behest of the ex-DIG purely because he wanted to settle some personal score. He has further said that State Government should have a re-look at his case and find out from ground whether or not the land had been grabbed or sold, said a source. He maintained that the officer has even promised to present himself before any inquiry committee whichever is set-up by the Government to find out the factual position.
