Jammu, Feb 8: Soon after Governor's administration announced Ladakh as a third administrative division of the state, Kashmir centric politicians PDP and NC presidents Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah started talking about Pir Panchal and Chenab Valley.
Mehbooba welcomed the decision of the J&K government with a "heavy heart" but she was quick to add that the J&K government has ignored regions like Pir Panchal and Chenab Valley.
"Creation of a separate administrative division for Leh is a welcome step. However ignoring Pir Panchal & Chenab Valley raises questions about the Centre's intention. Seems like Guv sb is peddling BJPs agenda by ignoring other equally deserving regions," Mehbooba tweeted.
