TOP STORY OF THE DAY
Uncertainty grips babus in Civil Secretariat
4/21/2015 12:22:45 AM
Bashir Assad Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 20: Public fury over administrative paralysis since the PDP-BJP coalition government took over in the state on March 1 is growing by the day. It is amusing to see the government at various layers running in parallels and powers centers shifting from one chamber to another in the Civil Secretariat. There is disillusionment among the people in general and the workers of PDP in particular who allege that the functioning of the government is decimal and there is a virtual breakdown in the Secretariat. Every second PDP worker would complain of lack of coordination between the minister and his department. The PDP workers say that most of the administrative secretaries are feeling insecure, even though they have complete faith in Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. "Senior bureaucrats have full faith in Mufti Sahib but at the same time they have, of late, inculcated a sense of insecurity because of certain factors" said a senior PDP leader, wishing anonymity. He said that there is a fear among the bureaucrats because they think Chief ...

4/21/2015 12:21:56 AM
Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 20: All separatists in Kashmir have ganged up against West Pakistan refugees (WPRs) and RSS. They have joined hands against them and resolved to work against them, despite the fact that these separatists do not see eye to eye with each other. Geelani is threatening the state government that his pro-Pak outfit would hold demonstrations across the Valley if any attempt was made to grant citizenship rights to the WPRs. Mirwaiz is also vitiating the atmosphere through his provocative and uncalled for statements on the WPRs' demand seeking citizenship rights so that they also enjoy equal rights with their fellow citizens in the state. 4/21/2015 12:21:14 AM

On April 15, seditionists like Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Masarat Alam and their supporters held an anti-India rally in Srinagar and raised pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans, unfurled many Pakistan flags and also made inflammatory speeches to provoke hatred against India. WPR: BJP stands thoroughly exposed
4/21/2015 12:20:54 AM
Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 20: The BJP stands thoroughly exposed. It has compromised not only its ideology to share some loaves and fishes of office in the state not only at the cost of the ignored and marginalized people of Jammu region and Ladakh, but also at the cost of the nation. The irresponsible manner in which the BJP has been conducting itself in the state only serves to demonstrate that it had never meant what it preached across the nation during all these years of independence to create an impression that it was a nationalist party with a nationalist agenda and not for political power. Had the people of Jammu province and their fellow countrymen knew that the BJP would comp...
