Early Times Report Bhaderwah, Sept 22: To facilitate and benefit students from far flung areas of Bhaderwah, Government Degree college Bhaderwah today launched daily bus service for Bhalla route which is on Doda Bhaderwah road. Principal of the college Prof Syed Zaheer Abass Hashmi asserted that, bus service from Bhaderwah to Bhalla which is 20 km away will be only for students of poor and far flung areas so that they will reach college on time without any problem. He said that many female students have to suffer a lot due to shortage of buses on this route and many a times they miss out the college as bus operators refuse to board them in view of over loading and now without any problem they can reach the college . Delighted by the launch of the service, female students of Bhalla , Seri , Dradu , Domial , Narnoo ,and Kellar termed the step as very good."It is a very good step. We welcome it as it was the need of the hour," said Sumera Naz , a student who travelled by the bus on the first day. Another Student , Lakshmi Devi , however, said the government should increase the frequency of the service."It (the frequency) should be increased. The buses should ply regularly and round-the-clock," she said. |
