Actor Harsh writes to PM urging to start playing National Anthem in movie | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 22: Actor Harsh Nagar who was in Jammu to promote his upcoming film Love Day - Pyaar Ka Din. Love Day an upcoming comedy movie wrote to Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi requesting to play the National Anthem in movie theatres before the movie screening. While talking to media persons here today, Actor Harsh Nagar said, "I have written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting him to re-start an old practice i.e. playing of the National Anthem in movie theatres before the movie screening. "The letters have also been sent to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Deputy Chief Minister dr Nirmal Kumar Singh, he said while recalling, "this practice was in use but later has been discontinued." Quoting Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, he said, "During my (Big B) school and college days in Delhi, when I used to go to theatres, they used to play the National Anthem and people there used to stand up when it played. I don't know why it was stopped but if it reappears, it will be good." Director Shoojit Sircar has also stated whenever he goes to a theatre in Mumbai and the national anthem was played... I feel proud of myself as an Indian. During his interaction actor Harsh Nagar also briefed media persons about his upcoming movie and said it is based on friendship written and directed by Harish Kotian and Sandeep Choudhary while he along with Ajaz Khan and Sahil Anand are in the lead roles. Actor Harsh Nagar said, "Love Day is a mixture of drama and comedy and the story is about 3 childhood friends Monty, Sandy and Harry who explores the journey of three childhood days. "I hope the movie shall make everyone enthralled and certainly will be appreciated," he added. |
