Lecturers Forum hails govt order 9/22/2016 11:09:35 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 22:Amar Nath Thakur State Chairman Incharge School Education officers' lecturers Forum ISEOLF/SEECC held a meeting to hail the detention of students at elementary level, Order No. 338 Edu of 2016 was issued by commissioner Secretary School Education on 19-09-2016 in this regard. He said this is a right step to improve quality education. This issue was taken and discussed seriously with education Minister, Commissioner and DSE Jammu. He thanked education Minister Naeem Akhtar to issue such an order and sanctioning staff for two cluster Universities in J&K. He suggested that CCTV cameras is the need of hours to be installed in all examination centres from 5th to 12th class examination centres to prevent the copying in examinations. He said that in order to show better results. Private and Government Schools are promoting copying, ETT Institutions example is before us. Wrong policies of the Government have to be reviewed taking teachers fraternity in to confidence. Teachers are builders of nation but their role in farming policies is not taken that is why policies are rewied when Performance is not up to the mark. When CCTV cameras will be installed true picture will emerge students, teachers and parents will be particular to their studies. He said everyone who is dishonest, Play with the life of poor students is a culprit and should be taken to task. He requested Commissioner Secretary and DSE Jammu to issue transfer orders of Lecturers who have applied in the transfer Mela's in summer zone Jammu Province and also modify the transfer orders of Lecturers , Masters and teachers which are genuine. He appealed Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to reconsider the appointment of Joint Directors from KAS cadre and appoint Joint Directors from Chief Education Officers Cadre only as is done in Medical education department . It shows that officers of the education department are incapable, incompetent and Non performers which is the wrong notion . He appealed education Minister to appoint separate director s. For elementary education , secondary education and human resource management Director in School education department to share the burden work and load.
