JAMMU, Sept 22: The combined side of Post Graduate Departments of University of Jammu (JU) today lifted the inter-college men's Basketball trophy after they trounced fighting Government SPMR College of Commerce 70-64 in the title clash that took place at MA Stadium, here. The event was organised by the Department of Sports and Physical Education of JU as part of their annual calendar of activities.
In the final, Shubham Sharma, Arjun, Hans and Kunal Gupta were star performers from the winning side while Jaskirat Singh, Neeraj Mahas and Pranav Dubey defended well from the SPMR College of Commerce.
The trophy was awarded to the winning side by Director Sports and Physical Education, JU, Prof. Avtar Singh Jasrotia.
The final was officiated by a the technical panel comprising Manoj Kumar, Rajesh Bandral, Ranbir Singh, Mousmi Verma, Vaneet Pangotra, Harpreet Singh and Sumit Dogra. |
