Jammu, Oct 12: “After so much of struggle and a sincere eagerness to see this day through we are feeling at home as we touch ground in Jammu breaking gap of 61 years”, this is how responded a suave and apparently well learned Zulfikar Abbasi, the president of Muzaffarabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries as his local counterparts stretched their arms over the red carpets to receive trade delegation from across the Line of Control here this afternoon.
Abbasi leads a 19-member delegation of leading traders and representatives of various chambers in different parts of Pakistan administered Kashmir. The delegation which arrived here to a warm welcome here this afternoon was later given a presentation on the trade potential of Jammu over a formal welcome meet significantly hosted by the Muslim Federation and conducted by the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industries and Federation of Industries.

A meeting of the Election Commission on Monday is likely to decide about the schedule for assembly polls in six states including Jammu and Kashmir. Along with Jammu and Kashmir, polls are due in Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Mizoram, where the tenure of the assemblies will expire this year.
It was, however, not clear whether the poll panel would announce the schedule for Jammu and Kashmir in view of the difference of opinion among some of the political parties though the Centre was keen on holding the elections on time. Pune, Oct 12: Confirming that a threat mail against President Pratibha Patil, on a visit to Pune, has been received by Rashtrapati Bhavan, officials said central intelligence agencies were probing the case.
So far no group has claimed responsibility for the e-mail addressed to the President.
Officials said here that central intelligence agencies and Delhi Police have been provided with the details and they were working on the leads.
While the e-mail also mentions Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the threat has been issued only against the President.
The mail reportedly mentions words such as "doomed" and "damned country", sources added.

Jammu, Oct 12: In yet another mysterious fire incident more 70 than houses and thatched structures including cowsheds were gutted at Choidharan Hargam, of Warwan, a remote and inaccessible area of Kishtwar districts last night.
Fire broke out in the Chui Draman village late last night under mysterious circumstances and it soon engulfed the entire village, sources said adding the initial reports available with the district administration reveal that over 70 structures including residential houses, cowsheds, shops and a local Masjid suffered total damage in the devastating fire, while 20 other residential structures were partially damaged.
