JAMMU, Feb 26: The Defence Ministry is unlikely to reopen the Pathribal encounter case. Ministry officials after consultations with the Army have decided not to reverse its decision.
According to sources, senior Army officials had told Defence Minister that decision to close the case has been taken by following all steps and opening a case would amount to turning down the due process of law followed by the Army.

Official sources informed Early Times that in the year 2011-12, Government of India (GOI) had sanctioned 3 projects with an estimated cost of Rs. 115 lakhs.
