Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 12 A quiet but tense Jammu has all eyes focused on the Governor NN Vohra’s next action as yet another round of agitation is waiting to roll out on Wednesday even as Sunday is being observed as Black Day in Jammu as a mark of protest against the Amarnath Shrine land issue. The Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti which temporarily suspended its agitation Monday, had set deadline for Tuesday asking the Governor to retrieve land which was surrendered to the Tourism department. Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 12 It was around January this year that the issue of nameless graves broke up in Kashmir and assumed such proportions that it came for a heated debate even in the European Parliament but the Jammu and Kashmir Police never spoke on the issue. Reasons were obvious –one coalition partner (Peoples Democratic Party) wanted the Police to endorse these reports while other (the Congress) desired that Police should vehemently deny any such thing in these graves of north Kashmir.
