Bashir Assad Srinagar, Aug14: Hunt for new Minister of State for Home has begun following the resignation of Sajad Ahmad Kichloo from the Council of Ministers over Kishtwar clashes which left three people dead and several injured. Soon after the resignation of Kichloo as Minister of State holding independent charge of Industries and Commerce, the General Administration Department issued an order saying that the Industries and Commerce Department shall remain under the direct control of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, however, the Home department held by Kichloo as MoS has not been assigned to anyone so for. If the sources are to be believed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah discussed the issue with Union Health minister Ghulam Nabi Azad late last night but the deliberations remained inconclusive. Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 14: Curfew continued in Kishtwar for the sixth day running even as restrictions were partially relaxed in Samba and other areas of Jammu region which witnessed incidents of communal clashes recently. "No relaxation in the curfew was given in Kishtwar. The decision to relax the curfew is taken keeping in view the situation on the ground, which is being reviewed regularly," Kishtwar District Magistrate Baseer Khan said."There are no reports of any untoward incidents in the past 24 hours," Khan added. The violence and its subsequent polarization in the Jammu region could unsettle the dream of Omar Abdullah again heading the state. Sajjad Ahmad Kitchloo had in the last assembly elections won the seat with a margin of about 2,000 votes. BJP had polled about 16,783 votes, while Kitchloo got 19,248 votes.
