| Widespread condemnation pours in against twin terror attacks | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 28: Widespread condemnation continued to pour in from the cross section of society against the terrorist attack at police station Hirangar and Army Camp at Samba on September 26 in which dozen people were killed.
In this connection, Janata Dal (U) under the leadership of Gulam Qadir Wani State President today held protest demonstration in front of Press Club Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, Wani criticized the state and center government for their weakness to tackle militants infiltration. He said that although border is sealed as well as patrolling is installed but militants managed to infiltrate very easily due to lackluster attitude of governments.
He further said that the recent incident has exposed the tall claims of Centre as well as state government of normalization in the state. He demanded compensation to affected families and jobs next to the kin. Those who were present on the occasion included Suraj Prakash, Rajinder Sharma, Vijay Kandotra, Rajib Pandoh, Narinder Sharma, Roop Ranjan Bhan and Shamsher Singh. District Gurdawara Prabandak Committee, Jammu condemned the terrorist attack and termed it cowardly act by killing innocent people.
The members of the committee said the terrorist attack seems to be part of a well plan strategy to derail the peace process to be carried forward by two neighborly nations through process of dialogue.
They further said that it is really regrettable that despite totally well fenced boarder, forces having been print on high alert, having all modern war gargets including night vision, supported by satellite images attack by terrorist has been so successfully executed.
They said that in fact the terrorist have been on road and even on national high way road for quite some time after attacking the police station without any check. All this need complete introspection of work plan of security forces, police all other agencies concerned so as the put complete check on such unpleasant, uncivilized acts by the terrorist to induce confidence in civil society. |
