Jammu, Sept 28: It is indeed a very critical phase for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The fuss created about 2014, the election year for the country in general and Jammu and Kashmir in particular as the State will have to face two elections, Parliament and Assembly.
Much has been talked about United State's withdrawal from Afghanistan and its impact on situation in Jammu and Kashmir but do the Governments of today, both at Central and State level, are concerned about it or not. Similarly, other political parties sitting in opposition are also playing it to the political level only just to get the mileage out of it.
None of them has been able to study the thing correctly and accurately as what preventive measures must be taken to counter the threat of any kind. The year 2014 is crucial for the security and integrity of the country which will be playing into the hands of political and communal forces during elections and into the hands of terror forces from outside.
All the security will be put in place to manage fair elections but no one will be actually doing the national duty to prepare a comprehensive strategy to keep terror elements at a bay.
If all political parties, claiming to be patriotic, should think what should be the strategy to stop terror elements from entering in the country, the situation will be turned in the interest of nation.
All political parties must push the central Government to either go for early elections or take necessary steps to keep terrorists away from India. The recent terror attack in Hiranagar and Samba is a wakeup call for all to keep their political thinking at a bay and get into a hurdle and think for betterment of India.
But this will not be done as Congress on one hand is busy in projecting its Yuvraj, Rahul Gandhi for the post of Prime Minister whereas BJP is busy in trying to cash in on the name of Narendera Modi, who is being projected Prime Minister face of Hindu forces. These things will lead to only destruction and nothing beyond that.
It is the lust of power, which these two major political parties of the country have got engaged in and have taken whole country to ransom. It is the time for people of country to think and save their country ahead of crucial 2014. |
