Weatherman forecasts dip in day, night temperatures

Srinagar, Sept 28: Meteorological Department today predicted light to moderate rainfall across Jammu and Kashmir till Sunday afternoon.
"Due to Western Disturbances, light to moderate rainfall is expected to occur across the State and the showers would last till Sunday afternoon," MET spokesperson said.
He said that weather would improve on Sunday while day and night temperatures may witness a fall from Sunday evening.
After pleasant sunshine from past month, Kashmir today witnessed cloudy weather, while as moderate rainfall was reported from many parts of Kashmir in summer capital Srinagar.
"Temperature will witness a dip in coming days. Besides sky would also remain cloudy for next few days," MET spokesperson said adding that weather will remain dry in October and November.
