Udhampur, Sept 28: NGO - Jiyo Aur Jeene Do organized a programme at Tilak Nagar today to convey their deepest condolence to all those who lost their lives in the recent twin terror attacks at Police station Hira Nagar and the Army Camp at Samba. The NGO members gathered at Tilak Nagar to pay their homage to the brave soldiers of Army as well as police by lighting candles in their names. While expressing deep sorrow over the loss of civil and personnel of Police and Army forces in twin terrorist attacks, the chairman of NGO Tariq Shah said that it is a very shocking incident. Such attacks affect deeply the mind set of every citizen. Our government must give a strong reply to such attacks.He also stressed on strengthening the security measures to avoid such attacks in future. He also appealed to all that being a responsible citizen of nation we all must be alert enough to prevent such attacks. We at NGO - Jiyo Aur Jeene Do have always insisted that the message of peace be spread and not of hatred. The members of NGO prayed for those who got injuries in these attacks and prayed for their quick recovery. They also kept silence for one minute in the memory of those who lost their lives.Among others, Shakuntla Devi, Ejaz,Manik,Rafiq,Kiran , Laxmi,Parveen Akhter, Anil Sharma,Koshalya Devi,Farooq Ahmed ,Sanjay Mehra ,Nasir Hussain and others were present. |
