9/28/2013 10:54:06 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 28: Om Parkash, a follower of Anna Hazare and well known social worker has lauded the President of India on his refusal to give his consent to the bill relating to the tainted persons, debarring them from contesting the assembly as well as parliamentary elections.
As per press release, Om Parkash said this is a great and public oriented step taken by President of India. The voice raised against the bill (tainted MPs and MLAs election) stands vindicated by the act of President of India. Om Parkash Sharma, who is already on fast for last 426 days at Jammu to enforce that introduction of Lokayut or Lok Pal Bill in the Legislature of Jammu and Kashmir state, further stated that he is thankful to other political parties who have opposed the passing of the said bill, though these parties have changed their stand from earlier one to present stand by opposing the bill, sill it is better late than never.
