early times report Jammu, Sept 28: Residents of Trikuta Nagar Society organised an 'Intellectual Meet' here on Saturday in which Sant Baba Swarnjit Singh Ji (Gaddi Parmukh) of Tapasthan Gurdwara Manji Sahib was the Chief Guest and Vinod Mahajan, member J&K State Pahari Advisory Board was Guest of Honour. The meet was organised By Nitish Mahajan, member DRUCC Northern Railway) at Ward No 53 here. Expressing concern over youth getting cynical about the political system and democracy, Sant Baba said they youth should bring about change by participating in political process. "I am deeply worried to see the present scenario of politics in the country. Today, the biggest challenge is that youth should come forward for active participation in political system. Youth could bring about revolutionary changes in society through democracy," he said. While interacting with youth, Baba Ji said: "You left the Nation in search of a dream. I want India to be that dream. India will be the world's next super power and the next century is India's century." He urged the proper use of technology, adoption of skill based training and efficient utilization of the world's greatest workforce and India's greatest resource viz the 60 percent of India population who were under the age of 30, totally 630 million people - double the US population. Baba Ji spoke passionately about India's progress and challenges, underling a positive message of hope and change. He rooted firmly in favour of youth participation in nation building, believing that one must participate in the system in order to change it.
