Jammu, Dec 1: In pursuance of search for academic excellence and its application in corporate sector, the Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) today organized an industrial visit of Ist semester of Electrical and Computer Engineering students to Intex.
Engineering students warmly received by the officials of Intex including the Unit Head OP Sharma Manager and personnel Manager, HRD/Operations, Manmohan Singh. Top ranking officials in an interactive session, briefed students about the Company's profile, infrastructural facilities, its achievements and vision in current economic scenario including the functioning of 3-different Units, plant layout from production, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control Department (QCD) Labeling, packaging to logistics.
This visit not only brushed up the concept of corporate culture in the students, but also sparked off an urge to acquire more and deeper understanding about the existing technology.
The entire Industrial visit was coordinated by Dinesh Gupta, Assistant Professor Electronics, Sakshi Sharma, Rhia Mahajan (COD's), IS Walia and Bhawani Salathia from Training and Placement Cell. |
