Early Times Report

Srinagar, Dec 1 : Terming mission 44+ of BJP as an attempt to strip Kashmiries of their identity and selling Kashmir to companies like TATA and Birla, PDP Patron Mufti Muhammad Sayeed while introducing a slogan "Hoshiyar-Khabardar" said that it is PDP versus BJP in ongoing assembly elections and rejected NC as its competitor. Addressing rallies in South Kashmir, Mufti said BJP wants to divide people of Jammu and Kashmir in the name of religion, fake developmental policies and sell ever green landscape of Kashmir to companies like TATA and Birla by way of abrogating Article 370. "Hoshiyar-Khabardar, BJP has designed evil frameworks for Jammu and Kashmir to divide people and sell Kashmir to outsiders, PDP has no competition with NC which is no position to stop external forces. While praising NDA government led by former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Mufti said that present government at centre is not like the one Vajpayee was heading which initiated meaningful dialogue with Pakistan to solve pending Kashmir issue once for all. He said that 'it was unfortunate that central and state governments led by Vajpayee and him completed terms at a time when both the government with the help of Pakistan were about to solve Kashmir issue. Mufti while warning people said that 'this election is not just about development and governance of Jammu and Kashmir but it is about safeguarding the distinct identity of Jammu and Kashmir and upholding the dignity of its people which according to him is in danger. Claiming to form next government once again in Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti said that 'PDP is committed to solve Kashmir issue once for all and added that self Rule is wisely decorated framework of PDP leadership for the resolution of the Kashmir issue.
