Sham files nomination papers seeking third term from Akhnoor
Reiterates his struggle for CM from Jammu

Akhnoor, Dec 1: Minister for PHE and MLA Akhnoor, Sham Lal Sharma has covertly accused BJP of compromising with separatists and hijacking Hurriyat Conference agenda for its vested political interests and reiterated that he shall continue his struggle for a Chief Minister from Jammu region.
Sharma, who is seeking third term from Akhnoor constituency while filing his nomination today sought peoples' support on the basis of works done by him as MLA and the Minister during last two terms. He urged the people to support Congress so that it emerged as the single largest party in the ensuing elections and its agenda of regional councils in J&K could become reality.
He enumerated various developmental works accomplished in the constituency during his tenure including new Hospital, Dispensaries, Roads, Tube wells, Lift Irrigation Scheme cause ways, vented cause ways to ensure all season, connectivity of remote kandi and Hilly areas and civic amenities in each nook and corner of Akhnoor Constituency.
He also made a mention of new Administrative units, Sub District Status to remote and backwards areas of Chowki Choura, Tehsil and Niabat, besides Tehsil at Jourian and Mandrian whereas Niabats at rah-Salyote, Ghar Majoor, Chowki Choura, Kathar, Devipur and Bhalwal Brahmana. Sharma pledged that his vision of Model Akhnoor Constituency will be sole agenda and he urged whole hearted support of the people to accomplish the same.
Madan Lal Sharma, Sr. Congress Leader and Former also addressed the gathering and sought support for Sham Lal Sharma.
