Jammu, Dec 1: Candidates of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today filed their nomination papers for the fifth phase of on-going assembly elections. Senior leaders of the party accompanied PDP candidates when they filed their nomination papers in different areas of Jammu province. Before filing of nomination papers PDP candidates took out massive processions in their respective assembly segments in which thousands and thousands of people participated. Senior leader of the PDP and party candidate for Jammu West Assembly segment, Sarv Daman Bhasin today filled his nomination papers. An impressive procession was taken out before MrBhasin filed his nomination papers. Former Minister and senior leader of the party Qazi Mohammad Afzal, Ved Mahajan, R K Bali, Ashok Jogi, Vinod Sharma, Surjeet Kour, Geeta Thakur, Puneet Jamwal and others were present on the occasion. Former Minister and spokesman of the party, SardarRangil Singh accompanied Bhushan Lal Dogra, who filed his papers as PDP candidate for R S Pura assembly constituency. Party candidate Thakur Suram Singh filed his papers from Marh assembly segment. Jagjeet Singh Jagga, Vikram Singh, Diley Ram and others were also present on the occasion.
At Bishnah, Qazi Mohammad Afzal was present when party candidate F C Bhagat filed his papers. ViajyChoudhary, SatpalCharak, Chatter Saini, YashpalBhagat, S R Sarangal and others were present on the occasion.
Party candidate Devraj Bhagat filed his papers as PDP candidate from Akhnoor assembly segment. A big procession was taken out in Akhnoor town before filing of papers. MadanLal filed his papers as PDP candidate for Chhamb assembly segment. He was accompanied by Suman Sharma. Suraj Parkash filed his paper as PDP candidate for Hiranagar assembly segment. AbhijitJasrotia, Gurdeep Singh Pandey and other senior leaders were also present on the occasion. |
