Jammu, Dec 1 : In a Public Interest Litigation seeking alleged Conversion of Residential Area into Commercial at Roop Nagar Housing Colony, today when the matter taken-up for hearing, Adv SK Shukla referring to the provisions of Section 12(1) of the Development Act, has argued that the JDA has no jurisdiction to change the land use by converting the parking area for commercial purpose.
Division Bench further observed that another submission made by Advocate SK Shukla is that the problem of parking has not been addressed, upon this AdvSindu Sharma appearing for the JDA seeks time to file response, Division Bench granted one weeks time to file response and list this PIL On December 8, 2014.(JNF) |
