Jammu, Dec 1: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP)'s contesting candidate SandeepManhas today filed nomination papers from Marh constituency accompanied by state president Thakur Randhir Singh and supporters. After filling nomination papers, he addressing the gathering by Thakur Randhir Singh regretted that Marh area was as neglected as it was during Indo Pak wars , since it is active border area and was shocked to see that no development has taken place in this area by all the successive MLA's ,MLC's and Ministers from Marh and have totally ignored this area in field of agriculture, roads, schools , employment, health, irrigation and other developments. He said state NCP has launched movement to get their lands back under the powerful Chinnore farm farmers association led by Devinder Singh Manhas and many other members State NCP has pledged for creation of Border scouts on the pattern of Ladakh scouts which will be fully armed and to be paid monthly salary by the employing the people of the border from Kathua, Kanachak to Poonch and the border area will be developed as special zone by the central government. |
