Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 26: Jammu Private Schools and ETT Institutes Association (Progressive) has termed Congress government responsible for pathetic condition of schools and deplorable sanitation conditions. According to press release, president of ETT Association, Deep Singh alleged that the state Congress was the only culprit, whose leaders had been holding portfolio of Education department since last twelve years. "Education, the so-called priority sector in J&K has developed as paradise for concerned ministers, bureaucrats' ant government employees as teachers and others", he alleged, adding, "For ministers and bureaucrats it is a money minting transfer industry whereas it is handsome salary and work/accountability free destination for the teaching staff and others, it added. In urban areas, four times of the approved teachers strength is enjoying against the minimize students enrollment, it further added. In fact, it is an appeasement towards the influential class without caring the unlimited nation's financial wastage". He further appealed Government of India to intervene in the matter and took action against the state government. |
