Assembly Polls in J&K acid test for BJP: Malik | | | Jammu, Aug 26: Castigating BJP for not fulfilling its commitments made before, Lok Sabha elections the state unit OBC today said the upcoming assembly polls in J&K would be acid test for the party. According to press release, OBC president Abdul Majid Malik said the in just concluded parliament elections, BJP had promised for providing due share of reservation for the State OBCs, but the party has ignored the same issue. "BJP got a thumping majority in elections and now there is a stable BJP Government at union. State OBCs were expecting that Dr. Jatinder Singh MOS of PMO office an MP from Udhampur-Doda Constituency and MP Jugal Kishore Sharma from Jammu-Poonch Constituency would raise this issue in the parliament but both have failed to raise the OBC issue in parliament and parliament ended Sin-a-die on August 14, 2014", Malik said.
