Jammu, Apr 20- Three minor children, including two girls, were reportedly burnt alive when major fire broke out inside their house in Kanthal area of Bani tehsil in Kathua district late Sunday night.
According to preliminary reports, "late Sunday night when the children were in deep sleep fire broke out engulfing two houses of Hans Raj and Radha Krishan. Though all elders present inside the house managed to escape the flames but the sleeping children were trapped inside the house and were reportedly burnt alive.
The minor children have been identified as nine year old Ankush, seven year old Kajal daughter of Hans Raj and five year old Anjali daughter of Radha Krishan.

Srinagar, Apr 20- A militant and a CRPF trooper were killed and four others injured in an encounter at Pattan in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police sources said. Meanwhile, security forces recovered some arms and ammunition from a militant hideout in Panzla area while a former militant was shot dead in Tral area of Pulwama district.
Reports reaching here said that troops from the 29 Rashtriya Rifles, 117 Battalion CRPF and SOG cordoned Trikolbal area of Pattan late last night following specific information about the presence of militants in the area.

Srinagar, Apr 20: Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) has said it has not threatened to carry out suicide attacks during Lok Sabha polls in Jammu and Kashmir, claiming that reports on the issue were propaganda unleashed by the "agencies".
