SPO booked allegedly raping deaf & dumb girl 2/17/2014 11:22:40 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Feb 17: In a shocking incident of rape of a 15 year old deaf and dumb girl, Doda police today booked and arrested a Special Police Officer (SPO) for his alleged involvement in the case . As per sources, the brother of the victim, a resident of Batara Nagni Tehsil Thathri lodged a written complaint at Police Station Gandoh that his minor deaf and dumb sister (14/15) has been raped in the cattle shed by one Krishan Lal s/o Gumbir Chand of Padhar Balgran (Gowar) who happens to be an SPO posted in District Kishtwar. On the bases of the complaint lodged by the victim of the brother, the concerned police registered a case against FIR No. 09/2014, U/S 376 RPC against the accused and started investigations. Meanwhile the police got the victim medically examined at Sub District Hospital Gandoh and conducted raids to apprehend accused.
