Reliance promises skies, delivers zero
`Causes mental agony'

Jammu, Feb 16: Think before switching to Reliance. The slogans 'Kar Lo Duniya Mutthi Main, 'Atoot Bandhan' and 'Simply Reliance' are attractive but the delivery is not satisfactory.
According to a consumer, it disconnects and causes mental agony. Reliance communication which claims world’s 14th largest mobile network provider is fleecing its customers. After company's failure to extend satisfactory services to its customers, now Reliance is duping them. Moreover, Reliance virtually playing fraud with customers, as Reliance Netconnect, remains snapped in roaming network. Interestingly, if one complains, Reliance blocks your number so that you are unable to contact them.
Rahul, a, Reliance 3G service user said that it has been a constant source of mental agony for over a fortnight. "During my stay in various parts of county, I carried Reliance Netconncet, as was using in Jammu, but due to no network coverage, I was unable to access internet for which I have been paying Reliance regularly," he said, adding that during his stay at Dehradun, he had even registered a complaint with said network provider but no remedial steps were taken by the company.
He further said he has faced same problems in Shima. "Recently, I was in Shimla for few days, but the device I had carried to use internet remained idle, Reliance Netconnect was not responding in roaming network", he described.
Fed-up with no-internet access in roaming, Mukesh has appealed all those customers who are planning to switch or buy Reliance 3G that the company has been duping its customers. Referring to Reliance communication claims in which company offers users Hi-speed wireless internet access across India in over 24,000 towns and 6 lakh villages, as well as along major highways, railway routes, airport lounges and remote locations, he said the company has failed to provide service to Jammuites in cities like Shimla, Dehradun and other part in Northeastern region.
"3G works in select parts of Jammu city but the company has put up hoardings and billboards across the state, promising higher internet speed and downloading service", said Rohit, an Netconnect user Reliance 3G.
"Reliance takes bill amount before 30th of every month whereas my billing cycle completes on 11th of the next month. I have plan of 2 Mbps, but I have never seen speed above 100 KBPS in my connection. And that's not it; my 3g dongle gets disconnected at every hour", he added.
