Jammu, Feb 17: Railway Magistrate today rejected the bail applications of eight notorious thieves namely who are notorious thieves and involved in so many cases. Railway Magistrate Sandeep Gandotra after hearing PO Yogesh Nagpal appearing or the state observed that keeping in view the gravity of offence in these two FIRs as discussed hereinabove; the fact that investigation in these FIRs in yet not complete; the effect grant of bail would have upon the society at this stage and also the fact that the accused persons are habitual offenders wanted in many FIRs which are pending investigation, Court is of the view that this case falls in the category of exceptions and rejected the bail applications of Kala, Lohu, Bagh Ali, Hussain Ali alias Mangal, Lalu, Hanif, Zakir and Saaru involved in many cases. According to the police case that In FIR 155/2013, it is mentioned in the report that on 26.12.22013 complainant namely Madan Lal alleged when he along with Baba were going towards Chak Avtara in the car of the complainant and they reached near Radha Swami Sat Sang Ghar, then a vehicle had over taken their vehicle and stopped it. All the accused persons had attacked upon the complainant and Baba with Lathies and they had snatched cash to the tune of Rs5700/- from the complainant.(JNF) |
