MLC Jugal hails setting up of four Medical Colleges 2/17/2014 11:23:14 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 17: Member Legislative Council (MLC) and former Minister Jugal Kishore Sharma has hailed the Union Health Ministry's decision to open four medical colleges in four different districts and two cancer hospitals- one each for Jammu and Kashmir regions, In a statement issued here today, MLC Jugal Kishore said that the decision to set up new medical institutions in J&K is yet another gift for the people of the state from Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad adding that such a step would significantly improve health facilities and medical education opportunities across the state. He further said that the establishment of medical colleges will give a new fillip to education sector and open new avenues for the youth of far flung areas who want to pursue medical education at their door steps.
