Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 1: With no let up in the alleged discrimination with Jammu region, in the latest New Delhi has allegedly blocked funds needed to complete construction of five polytechnic colleges in winter capital region -making the languishing projects get delayed for around five years. Officials said in 2012, the then government had started establishment of as many as 18 polytechnic colleges in the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir. Early Times Report Srinagar, Dec 1: The National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited has engaged a Spanish Consultancy firm and an Indian private consultant to prepare a report for the construction of a tunnel on Mughal Road that connects Kashmir with the Jammu division. The tunnel is aimed at turning Mughal Road into an all-weather route and reduce the traffic pressure on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway.
