2/26/2021 11:17:44 PM
Early Times Report jammu, Feb 26: Although Congress tried to present a united face during the visit of Ghulam Nabi Azad, infighting was visible on the streets as loyalists of the former leader of opposition in the Rajya Sabha boycotted the official function. While Azad's loyalists boycotted official function, leaders of the rival faction were conspicuously absent on the roads to welcome the former chief minister of J&K. Not even a single leader, who owe their allegiance with Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief G A Mir, were not seen on the roads to welcome Azad. Former Deputy Chief and ex-Speaker Tara Chand, former Congress president Peerzada Mohammad Sayed, former ministers namely GM Saroori and Jugal Kishore Sharma along with ex-legislators Ghulam Nabi Monga, Subhash Gupta and Naresh Gupta had lined up on the airport road to welcome Azad. Shockingly all these leaders were absent from the official function held at party headquarters. As reported earlier, Azad loyalists have been boycotting official function for the last six months after they were not allowed to meet separa...
