Early Times Report JAMMU, May 4: The Kashmir-based parties, including the ruling PDP, the main opposition NC and the Congress, have joined hands against the decision of the Supreme Court to hold National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) across the nation for selecting candidates desirous of seeking admission to medical and dental colleges. They want the apex court to keep J&K out of the ambit of the order and their plea is that J&K enjoys special status under Article 370 and Article 35-A of the Indian Constitution. They say that if the state is brought under the ambit of the NEET, Kashmiri students would suffer. It's a spurious argument. Actually, they want to hurt the Jammu youth. Not only the so-called mainstream Kashmiri parties, the separatists of all hues, Kashmiri civil society groups and Kashmiri commentators have also opposed the Supreme Court order and expressed identical views.
