| Opoosition tactics won't deter me to deliver : Omar | | HR abuses more during Mufti era | | | Early Times Report
Jammu Feb 25: In a clarion call to the Opposition, the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today asserted that his government would deliver and continue its full term even if they resort to ‘tactics’ to fail him. Equipped with facts and figures on various fronts, Omar also asked PDP to compare the statistics of HR abuse and incidents of violence and judge the allegations rationally. The CM dared Opposition to prove their ‘worth’ in forthcoming Panchayat and Civic bodies polls rather than indulging in mud slinging on stone pelting incidents.
“My success is their failure which is why they are bent to prove me wrong and the policies of this coalition as anti –people……..they have nothing to do other than counting how many died and how many arrested during this tenure …..this is just a political game but I wish they were here to listen what I have to say”, Omar said adding that except only few, there were no takers for their stories and strategy. Citing incidents and quoting figures, he said it is PDP to decide who is real “Adamkhor (the killer, slogan which PDP used ... | |

ABID SHAH
NEW DELHI, FEB 25: Today India and Pakistan did talk to each other at their top most diplomats’ level here and possibly may do so in future also at the same and other levels may be here again or a city in Pakistan. Yet the hangover cast by past bitterness between the two neighbours ominously loomed large before the two sides. So much so that this lingers through even after over three-hour-long talks were concluded.
And some may say that this may become further grim, given some of the sharp remarks made through nearly an-hour-long rambling by the visiting Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir at a Press briefing called by Pakistan High Commissioner Shahid Malik.
