| Omar ‘takes over’ PDP’s slogan; asks for more LoC links | | | | Munish Gupta
Jammu, Mar 14: Shortly ahead of Lok Sabha election, Natonal Conference leadership has made an aptly smart move by taking the popular slogans of opposition People Democratic Party. The PDP leadership has in the recent past being campaigning on the issues of cross border contexts and trade which paid them well in the recently concluded assembly elections. However CM Omar Abdullah a pre-emptive move by pitching for opening of LoC routes.
The Omar Abdullah, government has written to the Central government seeking the opening of more trade links with the neighbouring country.
In a letter which the State government has shot off to the Union Home Ministry, it has asked for opening of the Suchetgarh-Sialkote, Nowshera-Mirpur and Chammb-Palanwala trade routes.

Balwinder Kumar, Superintendent who was posted in Chandigarh, and Mohan's PSOs Naveen Kumar and Devinder Pal Singh, were arrested by the NCB on the charge of conspiring with Mohan to siphon off heroin from seized contraband and then indulging in its trade, sources said.

New Delhi, Mar 14 : In view of the conflicting judgement of the Supreme Court on the issue whether irretrievable breakdown of matrimonial ralationship should be a ground for dissolution of marriage, the Union Government is likely to consider if the Hindu Marriage Act should be suitably amended.
The Law Commission is also of the view that if matrimonial relationship has reached a dead end then it should be allowed to be dissolved as to continue would not be in the interest of the sanctity of marriage. Jammu, Mar 14 : A financial coordinator of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was arrested and Rs 50,000 in hawala money recovered from his possession in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, police sources said here on Saturday.
Acting on a tip-off, the Special Operation Group (SOG) of police arrested Nazir Ahmed from Pangai village in Thanamandi tehsil of the district on Friday, they said.
They said that Ahmed, who hails from Mahore in Reasi district, visited Shahdra Sharief area in the tehsil and collected Rs 50,000 in hawala money from LeT's 'Osama group'.
